Fujifilm Recipe Identifier

Identify a Fujifilm recipe from a photo

Fuji Recipe Matcher helps narrow down which Fujifilm film simulation recipe may have been used for a photo by reading camera settings from the original image file.

Start with the original camera file

The recipe identifier works best with original Fujifilm JPEG or HEIF files because those files are more likely to include EXIF and Fujifilm MakerNote data. Edited exports, social media downloads, and screenshots often lose the settings needed for recipe matching.

What the matcher compares

Fuji Recipe Matcher looks for settings such as film simulation, dynamic range, white balance, white balance shift, highlight, shadow, color, sharpness, noise reduction, clarity, grain, Color Chrome Effect, and Color Chrome FX Blue.

When enough settings are available, the tool compares them with the recipe library and groups results into exact, close, and possible matches.
